Dan is a Managing Partner at Four Rivers, focusing on seed stage technology investments in Cloud Infrastructure and Developer Services. Dan has been privileged to be an early stage investor and board member at some of the most iconic companies in the developer tools and infrastructure software markets. Dan’s current investments include Deno, Fusebit, DaVinix, Ambassador Labs, and Prelude. Some of Dan’s prior investments include Apollo, Docker, Gatsby, InfluxData, New Relic, Pipefy, Serverless, and Weights & Biases..

An entrepreneur himself, Dan co-founded Flurry (acquired by YAHOO!), a leading user analytics platform for mobile applications. Dan began his career as employee number two at Wily Technology (acquired by CA) where he and the founder built the first version of the company’s application performance management product and then helped sell it to many of Wily’s Fortune 500 clients. Dan also worked at SVB Capital where he made venture investments in software and internet services companies. Most recently, Dan was a General Partner at Trinity Ventures.

Dan received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and an A.B. in Computer Science from Dartmouth College.
